I turn fragile, unmanaged systems into infrastructure you can trust.

I'm Phillip King — an MIS student who runs identity and access for a government travel contractor by day, and builds the hardened, audit-ready systems behind it.

What draws me in is the seam between people and infrastructure: access that just works, devices that stay locked down, and data that answers a question worth asking.

01 — Profile

Business instinct, engineer's hands.

I read what people actually need, then go fix it at the layer where it stays fixed.

My edge is range. I came up through customer-facing and leadership roles, so I notice what trips users up — and I've spent the last stretch deep in the technical layer, where I'd rather solve a root cause once than reopen the same ticket twice.

At Omega World Travel I run identity and access on Google Workspace — managing users, groups, MFA, SSO, and permissions, and handling the full account lifecycle from provisioning to deactivation with least-privilege in mind.

Alongside the day-to-day, I built the project I'm proudest of: a Microsoft Intune environment from scratch for a government contractor, hardened to CIS baselines and documented against NIST 800-171 — the kind of write-up an auditor actually accepts.

I'm finishing my MIS degree because I want both halves — the architecture and the reasoning behind it. I'm drawn to teams where security, data, and sound judgment all carry weight. The industry matters less to me than the standard the work is held to.

What keeps me sharp away from the console.

The parts of my life that say more about how I work than any skills list could.

Music & Production · 10+ years

I produce — and I play.

Guitar is home base, but I've put serious years into piano, saxophone, and violin too. A decade behind a DAW taught me the same discipline security did: obsess over the small stuff, and don't ship until every layer sits exactly right.

I build my own machines.

Twice, from bare parts — picking every component, cabling it clean, and tuning it to run cool and quiet. The same instinct that makes me good with systems shows up the second there's a screwdriver in my hand.
